Bible Reading: Job 8-11
Lessons from Job's friends (Eliphaz, Bildad, Zophas):
- Those who wish to comfort people in sorrow should consider silence before sppech, empathy before explanations and patience with their pain.
- Even the hardest questions that come out of grief don't require instant answers.
- Genuine friendship includes attentive, compassionate presence in times of sorrow and loss.
Daily Tidbits: Life's trials, whether allowed by God or sent by God, can be a means for development and refinement. (Job 10:1)
Jesus Calling Gem
"I want you to be all Mine...Depending only on Me may feel like walking on a tightrope, but there is a safety net underneath: the everlasting arms."
