Bible Bits: January 1st

Bible Reading:  Genesis 1:1- 3:24.

Lessons from Adam's Life:

• We all reflect the image of God
• We should not blame others for our faults
• We cannot hide from God.

Lessons from Eve's Life:

• The basic human tendancy to sin goes back to the beginning of the human race
• Satan's plan against us: doubt, siscouragement, diversion, defeat and delay.

Daily tidbit:

God gave us the freedom of choice but freedom isn't doing anything we want but from obedience and knowing what not to do. The restrictions He gives us are to help us avoid evil. (Gen 3:5)
