- God recognizes the innocent person and sooner or later punishes the guilty.
Lessons from Cain's Life:
- Anger is not necessarily a sin but the actions motivated by anger can be sinful.
- What we offer God must be from the heart-- the best we are and have.
- The consequences of sin may last a lifetime.
Lessons from Noah's Life:
- God is faithful to those who obey Him.
- God does not always protect us from trouble, but cares for us in spite of it.
- Obedience is a long term commitment.
- We amy be faithful but our sinful nature always travels with us.

God seeks our surrender:
- He loves us and desires our fellowship and worship.
- He wants our service for Him to be effective and fruitful.
- He waits for the freedom to bless us.
